Thanks to all welcoming me back.
I am planning on spending a whirlwind Christmas vacation with The Boss in "sunny" San Diego.
I got her a copy of Chad's book for Christmas ;-)
The book I got from Sierra stays with me everywhere I go and is without a doubt my most often used herp book.
Thanks again, Sierra.

Alex:
I keep E. carinatus, they are just awesome little, but highly toxic snakes. Mine are not agressive, the male is even very shy. They are curious and come out to see what's going on. They are easy to handle, they hang on a hook just fine. I love the larger eye they have and how it's set a bit forward of where you normally see it on other species. They too are one of my favorites.
Best,
Al

Cool. I think Vipera ursinii moldavica fits in the same profile(except for the eyes. Maybe I`ll get one or a pair in the near future if they aren`t to expensive and if I could find them for sale or trade here. the ones I saw were very tiny. They`re smaller in real life than they are on the TV or in pics. Actualy, I think I`ll catch my own if I visit N. Africa in 2006. Hopefuly they will start popping up here as well(for sale that is). Thanks Al.
