There isn't a vaccine for humans, however, I spent a good deal of time w/ the head guy at Red Rock Biologics at the BOR symposium. He said that it's not out of the question that they may venture into human vaccinations in the future, but it's VERY up in the air. Production of a vaccine for humans vs dogs is exponentially more expensive. Also, they need to look at the market and see who would be interested in getting it. It wouldn't be worth their while to produce a vaccine for 5,000 hunters and 1,000 snake handlers, when the production cost could be $20 million.
