Ladies and Gentleman. I give you, "Chance Duncan". I must say Chance I see there is a bit of irony here.
Here this man calls me out for things he disagrees with, attempts to embarrass me, when all I am doing is living my life. Pathetic hypocracy! Chance, this is serious. This is violation of the Lacey Act, a federal offense, and you knew that when you sent the snakes, didn't you?
You truly are the wimp of wimps.
All my love, Chancey...
Sean Palmer
PS Kind of ironic isn't it? Once again....I am lecturing you. This is getting to be a full time job here.

Lol Trey, self-righteous is something I'm very much not. You're right though, as a person who isn't even a member of the hot community any longer I shouldn't be concerned with the goings on of it...unless I ever want to get back into it that is. And yes, I, like several other people, have made the mistake of shipping venomous via ground carriers in the past, but like you, I matured on that aspect. As for whoever "roach owns you" in NY is, I remember that name, but I did not send him a baby C. horridus. In fact, I've never even owned a baby C. horridus. I honestly don't remember what it was he bought from me, but he obviously has his facts mixed up on something.
I've never once tried to make the argument that I've never done things before that I shouldn't have. Quite the opposite in fact! The whole point of my posting this thread in the first place was to bring light upon people doing irresponsible things in plain view of the public to possibly be emulated. I didn't even intend to point out anyone in specific in the beginning, if you'll notice. I see now that I've done a grievous error on you all's part and insulted the wrong guy...lol. Have fun with your past-time while you still can. I just hope that when it's all said and done, I can still have my freaking woma pythons without them being made illegal.

Will you be willing to submit to a polygraph, Chance?
I'll pay for it, and set it up.
Seems you are on the ropes now.
Open mouth, insert keyboard!
Love ya!!

Well, I have to agree with everyone else here. Sean is a hell of a guy and I guarantee I would rather have him around to help me bag a Black mamba then the two people in Florida when that bite occurred. So comparing the two doesn't work. (And really, anyone with any real experience wasn't defending the people involved in that bite) Sean really is a standup guy and yes Chance it was obvious with your initial post that you were just "calling him out" even if you didn't name him.
You need to learn to relax and enjoy life a bit my friend!

Freehandling a monocled cobra? I thought that it was going to be something bad like a mamba or something. Sean seems to know what is going on. He seems like a good guy. I hate when people jump on other people. Humans are just like any other animal. We live our lives and carry on in our beliefs. Why are humans so bend on judging, and pointing fingers at other people. If he chooses to stick a monocled cobra up his bum, it is his chose. If he decides to put the pics on the internet its his chose. If someone decides to copy him, it is their chose. If some one decided to masturbate while playing air hockey in a room with neon green lights while wearing wristbands, grey shorts and shoes that are too big after eating supper and drinking too much water after swimming all day at a public swimming pool at 3:48 pm while staring at the lifeguards hot body while she is putting on tanning lotion and smoking a Camal cigarette and holding it in her left hand because her right hand is fractured from an accident two weeks ago involving a bird, a train and a hoola hoop,... it is their chose.

Haha, sure Sean, just let me know when my appointment is. I have nothing to hide. I have already said that yes, I have shipped venomous through ground carriers in the past. I guess the last time I did that though was...what...sometime in 2003 if you really wanna know. Was it stupid of me to do? Of course! I would never say it was anything else. But at least I can recognize when my actions were right or wrong.
Now as far as the Lacey Act goes, if you really want to get technical, it doesn't matter if the animal in the box is venomous or not. The Lacey Act covers the interstate trade of any type of wildlife that isn't labelled properly I believe. Now correct me here if I'm wrong...but I believe UPS, FedEx, and Airborne/DHL all have policies saying they don't knowingly take any snakes, period. I certainly have never received a shipment of any nonvenomous snakes through DHL or UPS that had "Live Nonvenomous Snakes" written on the box. Why? Because the companies wouldn't accept them if they did. So I guess just about everyone in the reptile industry who ships any snakes through ground carriers without the express approval of the company violates the Lacey Act in one way or another.
Wow, well I guess one good thing about my posts here on venomous is that they tend to get lengthy and get people involved! You have to give that to me! lol

Ah yes...I must've forgotten how mild N. kaouthia venom was...oh wait, aren't there some pics right here on this website of the disgusting necrosis kaouthia venom can cause, and that's not even counting the neurological effects. To be perfectly honest, if I had A/V available within a decent time frame, I'd much rather be nailed by a green mamba of either of the three species than a kaouthia or any other Naja for that matter. If you don't believe me, go take a look at the pics for yourself.
