If people dont want their religion attacked then do not use it as an excuse for idiotic, dangerous practices that jeopardize the rights of others. In that very way it does harm me and other keepers! Easy enough to undestand?
I,like you, have a "real" job. Actually a very good one that allows me many perks like using the internet as I see fit. I dont sell $50 puff adders to Dopehead 19-24 to make myself feel important or to make ends meet. If you kick me off the site I guarantee you it will not bother me in the least. I have a great life and dont need others to "high five" with. Nor do I need the applause of civilians because I can keep a copperhead in a glass tank.
I've read your mission statement and you have failed miserably at number 3. Also what kind of organization allows people to send money for membership and doesnt reply to them for a year? I have heard from 10 or more folks that say the same thing. Real professional. Maybe you should give up your computer police job and get on that one.
You most certainly could punish the freehandlers and such by canceling their membership and not allowing them to post. But I forgot, thats for the intelligent posters that are tired of these people killing hobby. Later mein fuhrer.

Why are being a little baby about everything. If you don't like this site go make your own. Then you can say whatever the hell you want. You are one of the biggest complainers on this site and you really need to just be quite for once. You don't need to act like a little child are whine and complain about this site. We DON'T CARE!! period.

Arent you the same kid I've seen in photos with Jeremy? Birds of a feather I guess. Try learning to write a complete sentence properly, you'll become a much more effective communicator. But you know what, I'll make you and the other children happy. Karl(or other SHHS staff), please remove all my posts and delete my membership immediately. I no longer wish to be associated.

This is blown all out of wack, if you disagree with what this man is doing, let it be known. I see it as a big hoopla over a ignorant idiot that has no sense by allowing a Puffer “or any other Venomous Snake for that matter” to bite him, in all honesty, that is what he’s doing. In my mind, it is pure insanity. Yes I Keep Venomous Snakes, but you will never see me tail one, much less touch it with my hands. I will admit that I did play this stupid game at one time, but I did learn. Guess the old saying is true “some people never learn” do they? This site is the best in my opinion. I still dont see why I get labled as a freehandler(Actually I do) but, I have only freehandled a few times and that was in the past. I dont even keep any snakes anymore. I just teach people about their importance. People just dont understand. There is more to snakes than just keeping them as "pets" The guy in the profile handles them the way he does because of his religion. The religion that he has every right to be a part of. I have talked to him on several occasions and I know for a fact that he doesnt do it for "Shock value" he does is purely for his beliefs. I dont know him well and I cant speak for him so I will leave it at that. You cant compare handling snakes to playing russian roulette(unless you are just trying to be dramatic) What bothers me is the same people who jump on him for doing something that he has every right to do are the same people who whine about freedom and when a law gets passed they get so mad. You arent the only ones who are allowed to keep snakes. Is it fair if laws are passed because someone who handles religiously gets bitten? For some no, but thats not what matters. I do get sick of the same whiners that try to start the next big arguement everyday. It seems as if some look through every file and try to find something to complain about. Then when someone says something about your way of doing something you get upset and offended. Is this really something to be arguing about? No. This is something that goes beyond right or wrong. He has a picture of a puff adder in his profile photo. SO what, thats what he does.

Oh well he freehandles, to ME we are bickering about a useless topic. There is nothing anybody can do about it, but fight and get mad. I wouldnt do it but if he wants to to express his faith in that manor well more power to him. I seriously doubt that he will cause any bans. Reason being is that if a bite occures people will say the same thing most of you say "He's a nutt job wacko". Thats it, and will be the end of it. People wont look at the hobbiest, but the Church will take he fall, and Chances are nothing will happen to the Churches because there protected.
Karl, I have been on this site for a long time, and with in that time I have always respected your opinion. In saying that I do not appreciate being disparaged By you or any other. I have tried my best in the past to be respectfull and will continue in the future.
Tom and everyone else:
This site has been a great source of information in the past, and current. If you dont like the management of this web site, and want to leave well bye. Yes, we fight, and maybe alittle to much. But we all are good guys, just with diffrent visions of whats right and whats not. There isnt single member that I wouldnt greet with a handshake. I respect everyone, and there opinions. Just because someone doesnt agree with me doesnt mean I dont like them or dont respect them. If we all agreed on every thing, what would we talk about? :-) If in my posts on this thread I have offended anyone I apologize that was not my intention. Being a Christian sometimes when talking about religion I get alittle worked up.

Jeremy this is directed towards you and Phillip. Based upon the title above. The bashing was not bad on the person who posted that Image until, you and your friend started to add religion into the subject. That's where it got out of hand. Jeremy you talk about the other posters going too far. On the other hand Phillip if you were to keep you mouth shut about that friend, it would have not gone too far. In my opinion its best leave people's personal info out it.

Freehandling may also be safer than other ways of handling. It looks like you are squeezing the life out of that snake in your profile picture.
