I need to buy some antivenom for the fer-de-lance (barbara amarilla) snake for our missionary friends in Honduras. Do you know where to get it?

It will be easier to obtain antivenom outside of the U.S. The following anti venom will work for the Fer de lance found in Honduras:
Costa Rica Polyvalent
Species covered: Bothrops asper ( Terciopelo ), Crotalus durissus ( South American rattlesnake ), and Lachesis muta ( the Bushmaster ) and all small pitvipers of Central America.
Contact:
Instituto Clodomiro Picado
Facultad de Microbiolgia
Universidad de Costa Rica
San Jose, Costa Rica
Institutional representative Dr. Gustavo Rojas Cespedes.
Phone: (506)299-0344 or 229-3135 Telex: UNICORI 2544 Fax: (506) 292-0485
Approximate cost: $30.00 / 10ml vial lyphiled
Minimum Order size 4 vials. Shelf life 3 years for liquid, lyophilized 5 years.
I am unsure how many vials are required to treat a bite. The manufacturer will be able to tell you.

On a National Geographic episode called "Velvet Killers" with Dr. Brady Barr there was a female herpetologist, studying poison dart frogs, who was bitten by a Fer de Lance. I am 90% sure that they said that she had to have 17 vials of Antivenom and that the average was 15. I know that it sounds like a huge amount but that is what they said. Even with the antivenom though her bite site become so bad they had to reconstruct much of her leg and she was hospitalized for about two months, I think. The bite looked a lot worse than any rattlesnake bite I ever saw. They also had another guy on there who had lost his arm to a Fer de Lance. I hope this helps.
Personally I can't wait to go and catch a Fer de Lance.
