I can verify David Mean's claims. I am now in possession of xeroxed copies of all of his receipts, money order, emails, signed certified mail slip etc. Robert Kirk tells him in one email posing as Jerry Driggers: "make out the money order to my secretary Ruth Kirk".
I'll bet he wished he never started this thread.

I'm with Bryan. This A hole also tried to rip me off on those cages too! There was just too much crap for me to trust him. Thank God I didnt! Sorry to David....You must realize that a loosers such a Mr Kirk are the exception in the hot community.There will always be SCUM looking to ripp good people off. If you pay attention to this site and deal with RESPECTED members you cant go wrong. I have done countless deals on this site without ever being ripped off by anyone including the Troll Jerry Driggers,Robert Kirk,GreaseMonkey or what ever the hell he's calling himself. People like this moron Robert Kirk dont have the balls to ripp you off in person. They hide behind their keyboard because they are cowards and afraid. I agree that Mr. Kirk’s post ranks in the top 5 of the “Most Stupid and Ignorant Statements” list, but I can’t seem to find the other 4 that comprise it. Could it be that his post is simply #1?
His statements seem libelous to me. Maybe he needs to be told to put up or shut up.
As for shutting this site down, Kirk needs to read the First Amendment. Absent evidence that the site is encouraging and facilitating illegal activities, no one can shut it down just because they don’t like hots, hot collectors, or the world in general. Any site that makes it possible for buyers and sellers (of anything) to get together may be misused for an illegal or improper purpose by people who have no regard for laws or ethics. Ask eBay about that, Mr. Kirk.
I have not been on this site long, but what I find here is a group of people who, whether they personally keep hots or not, have a serious interest in them. How would such people, who support responsible hot herpetoculture, benefit by encouraging irresponsible and illegal commerce in venomous reptiles? That doesn’t make any sense at all. Hey! Maybe that’s why Kirk’s drivel is on the list!

now I have tried to rip the bryan off with the cages also I would love to know how he came up with that. But that is the way it goes these days. This site is a gossip collumn and that is all I should hold the record now for the most replies to a post I wish someone would check on that I think that is pretty cool. this topic got a little out of hand.this guy can obviously not be trusted,and should have been left at that.
beleive it or not,i agree with him on one thing-there is alot of gossip on this site.i'll admit it,i am guilty myself of it,so i won't throw any accusations.
i do not think someones convictions should be posted on this or any site unless they do it themselves.i understand this guy wrote some stupid stuff in the beginning,but he ended up getting what he wanted.he obviously didn't post what he did to inform us of anything-he did it to stir us up.he did exactly as he planned to do.
i hope things go a little better on the forums.this isn't a bashing site-its an educational site,and should stick to that.the webmasters do an excellent job at making this site the best about venomous reptiles(on the web).
well,on a different note-i hope everyone has a great christmas!
