I would like to apologize to both Karl and Chuck. To Karl, for making a statement that I had not intended to turn into debate. And to Chuck, for going back and forth with him through this post. As Karl said, this thread should not have been started. It seemed that since the begining everyone has mis-read what I said. This thread keeps becoming a debate about keeping voids. My point was not at all about the keeping or the right and wrong of voids. It was about free-handling certain snakes. I still stand by my views as I am sure everyone else does. So again, apologies to Karl and Chuck.

For my part, apology accepted.
Time to move on.
Some posts were removed because they were inflammatory and bordering on personal attack/name calling which is strongly discouraged here.
This thread was started due to a picture which was thought to be outside the posted guidelines of the society's mission statement, the picture was removed, this thread is done.
Any further debate about the topic may be continued by the participants through personal email (addresses should be included in each profile - and if not there, then who are you arguing with anyway!)
