Well, Jim was right, i was about two months too early. Unfortunately my university doesnt plan spring break around west texas herp season.
It hasnt rained at big bend since october which really didnt help.
But alot of hard work has paid off.
5 baby atrox
1 BIG atrox
1 juv. molossus
1 juv. checkered garter
1 western toad
1 red spotted toad
a handfull of scelops and Cnemindophs
DEFINITELY a worth while trip for anyone thinking about going. We saw MILES AND MILES of texas, some awesome landscapes and herp habitat. Next time i'll add Bogertophis, alterna, lepidis, etc.... to the list.
Please check out the pics i uploaded in Crotalinae III.
Thanks,
MATT
