John,
vipers of differnt species mature at differnt rates, generaly as a rule of thumb smaller vipers mature faster than larger ones, but age isnt as important as body weight and size, as these vipers have live young you will want to make sure that your females body can take the toils of breeding. attaining an adult size does not necessarily mean reproductive maturity either though. you can push a captive bred viper into sexual maturity by feeding more than it requires but this is not in the best interest of the snake, eyelash vipers have been bred every 7 months but in the wild they usually breed every year. (this will reduce the life expectancy of your viper) which is around 20 yrs in captivity. "pushing" the viper into sexual maturity will also reduce the size of the clutch as well as have a higher than normal percentage of infertility and neonate abnormalities. anyway, I have not seen anything published as far at the youngest age females can breed, I would suspect 2 years at a minimum, I would suggest reading "the guide to owning eyelash and temple vipers" by Ray Hunziker, available through amazon.com or any other online book store. Hope this helps even though its not exactly a black and white anwser you were looking for! Ive never bred them, so im by no means an expert!
