Do snakes have territoriesd? I have noticed that later in the year around the end of June that I never find that many snakes around my area. So I thought that after breeding the snakes fan out and hunt and store up fat for hibernation.

Well, snakes (as any kind of wild species) owns their territory. Did you ever seen snakes happy with other ones?
