For those of you out there using cypress, do you buy from just a local landscaping store, a petstore, or somewhere else?
thanks

I would be willing to bet that the pet store mulch comes from the same place the landscapers get there`s.
It just has a fancy package and cost like 10 times as much!

I get my substrate in Wall Mart too. But I prefer a peat moss to mulch. It's super easy to spot clean too. Here is how it looks in a cage (the picture is not very good but it's a close up on the substrate - that snake is only a baby: http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m118/petra417/DSC08147.jpg

If you get substrate from Wally World another vendor just put small quanities in the microwave for 20 sec to fry anything living (mites)in it, then it can safely used for your snakes.
