Hey everyone i got a question or two...
Is it unusual for rattlesnakes to eat one another?
just to make sure u guys know all my snakes are fed properly and on appropriate scheduals. I take them out seperately and put them in their feed boxes I have for them. Maybe its normal from time to time that they eat each other, idk i was just wonder and hoping if you guys have any insites that u can give me. plus is it bad to have two different species in the same cage?. oh and the snake that consumed the other was a SW Speckled Rattlesnake, It ate my smaller Crotalus Ruber Ruber. anyways . any suggestions will be greatley appreciated .
Thanks ahead of time,

Travis, snakes are known to eat other snakes from time to time. This especially happens if one is larger than the other.
It is best to keep different types of rattlesnakes seperate from each other. If you are going to keep more than one snake in the same cage, they should be of similar size.
Best Regards JohnZ
