I have seen this event "Venom Week" mentioned on this forum by a few of the site veterans. What exactly is venom week, where and when. I have searched online and found one web page.
http://www.docguide.com/crc.nsf/congresses/4A2BF29D490C4E19852572A5004CC549
This list the dates of May 02, 2007 - May 07, 2007 in Tucson, AZ and no other real specifics.
However After sending an e-mail requesting information about this event. I was sent a reply that
"We are still in the planning stages and are hoping to get the brochure out by
the end of May. "
from Denise M. Garrett
University of Arizona
Office of Continuing Medical Education
If anyone out there has any info on this event It would be most appreciated. I would like to be able to attend.
Please respond via this forum or personal e-mail.
Thank You,

It is basically a snakebite oriented conference with speakers from all over the US, and sometimes includes international speakers as well. I attended the one in Omaha, NE in Oct 2005. It is generally intended for medical professionals/clinicians, professional herpetologists, or anyone else that has an intensive interest in venomous snakes at an advanced academic level. I am not 100% sure that I will be able to make this conference since I am scheduled to attend one in Georgia in August, and another in Mexico in October.
Here is another URL that will guide you on your quest:

Thanks for the info. Do you have any additional info on the one in Georgia during August, and whom I would need to contact about attending. This would be a much easier trip to manage than AZ. Although I am not a medical professional I would be very interested to attend events such as these.
Thank You
J.S.
