I have Recentlly Come on Board to A large and Growing Sportsmans Travel Agency..We own, operate or represent around the world a dozen or more destinations, besides Guiding Clients in South America, Central America, Africa, Myself I have been Put to the task of Opening up a new Sister Company Branch. for Photo Safari, Eco tours , Etc..However MYpassion is Not for the Normal,..I have no interest in Driving Little old ladies From NJ around in Zebra Striped Tour Buses to See Overwieght Park Animals!..My vision for this Branch of our Company, is to the more exciting and adventurous..We are lining up Riding with the Gauchos in Bolivia, Birding on the Amazon and in Africa, Hunting with Trained Eagles in Mongolia. and much more Call it Adventure travel ,with an emphasis on gaining respect for the environment and the diverse ecosystems..an appreciation for the peoples, cultures and wildlife that co-exsist in these wild places....To this End Ive have Asembled a Great staff of Biologists, Bird Experts,Horsemen Etc..But What WE are Looking for is A person To Head up a Herping Around the World Dept..This Job would Consist of Designing and developing a Program in Several different countries, from Central and South America, to Africa,,Degree in Biology, Herpetlogy, environmental studies.. or similar field would be helpful but not nessesary,Knowledge of your FIeld IS! Some Spanish Skills would be helpful, Good people skills, Knowledge of Species in any given area..Of course our local Biologists are some help to this end..And finally being Group leader You must love to Travel!!, The position wich would grow and the travel required would be in relation to the amount of trips that are booked. Our company has the resources. Boats , Planes, Lodges , etc to Do a GREAT herping trip in many places.. By Herping I mean Capture , Photograph and release NO COLLECTING!
