Arin, there is always the danger that one of the larger puffs will try to eat one of the smaller ones.
That will often kill both snakes. It is something we often see with other vipers like copperheads and cottonmouths when they are kept together.
If you are going to keep them together, try to provide a seperate small hiding box for each snake in the cage. That way feeding them will be a lot easier.
Also, keep them well fed. That way, there is less tendancy for one to try to munch one of its siblings.
Best Regards John Z

just to be safe i never have kept any of my snakes together no matter what the species. like cro said you just never know when one might decide its hungery and go after its sibling. since there young and small providing encloser's for each one would be very easy and inexpensive. i buy plastic containers for about $2 each and just keep something heavy on the lid for added security. good luck.

I agree. DON'T DO IT. Normally, I never house animals together, however, due to a temporary housing crisis that mortgage lenders had nothing to do with, I have two Mojaves who are temporarily housed together. I have to take one out before feeding the other. If you have ever tried to detach one Mojave from one end of a rat that has another Mojave attached to the other end, you will understand why. Last, but not least, bear in mind that Mojaves are malleable well behaved animals compared to Puffs.

I've seen cannabalism in Bitis, specifically Bitis gabonica. It wouldn't be wise to keep them together.
