Venom Immunity

Does anyone have information or experience on the introduction of venom into oneself to develope immunity to that venom?

Yes, I self-immunize with cobra venom(haje,nivea). I plan to add more in the future. I work closely with a doc and was taught by a friend of Bill Haast. This can be dangerous ground though, and immunity is only as good as the bit(sc,iv,etc.). Even at a 1/10,000 dilution with haje, I had some signs of envenomation. Health is also very important. It is also important to have kidney/liver assays done, to make sure the protein is not causing havoc in these areas. But, so far,so good. There's no room for error though, if I would have grabbed the wrong cc in the beginning, I wouldn't be here typing today. Tim
