Hey guys,
I just wanted to tell everyone on here that I'm now making feild hooks for $59 shipped.
I custom make them, so if anyone is interested in them just send me an e-mail with specs.
I always try to get them out within 10 days. If you really need the hook fast I'll work quick and get it to you as soon as possible.

John,
I'm in the market for a field hook. Something along the lines of the notorious stump ripper. My Midwest hook is too long, and I know I'll bust the shaft one of these days. I'm left handed, prefer a 40 inch hook. Got any pix?

I contacted Jon about a field hook a couple weeks ago. I wanted a pretty short one, 40". I have a long Stump Ripper but I wanted one easy to jump out of a car with. I sent payment on March 30, I received the hook in less than two weeks. It looks great, very professional, and has good balance to it, feels comfortable to use. I haven't been out in the field but did walk around and flip some things over to check it out. A big hunk of cement, a full sheet of plywood, some truck tires full of water, it handled them fine.
I just took a picture of it and put it on my profile so you should be able to take a look at it. My special order was filled quickly, it's a nice looking hook that I'm sure will stand up to hard use. With some luck I'll be able to put up a pic of an EDB hanging off of it soon!
