So far, I have read over 200 different news stories about this event, from all over the country.
The newsfeeds have him:
1. Leaning against the palm tree and the snake coming out of the bushes and biting him.
2. Having the snake drop out of the tree and biting him.
3. Having him step on the snake.
4. Having him released from the hospital the same day.
5. Having him released from the hospital 4 days later.
6. Having two different sets of symptoms from the bite. Some claim half his body was paralyzed, and included drooping eyelids, etc. His own statements only claim tingling and dizziness. In both cases, he got better quickly after antivenin was given ?
So far, only one vial has been mentioned. Would they only use one vial for a mamba bite ?
7. Getting several different stories on the news from the venom 1 / Miami Dade folks who are on the videos.
Same weekend as the big Daytona snake show ?
Has anyone checked to see if this guy is a card carrying member of HSUS or PETA ?
Something very strange going on here.
Find that snake Joe !
Best Regards
John Z

Larry,
There aren't any underground tunnels here for the comcast workers!!??That is probably where the mamba is.
It was a bit of sarcasm in what I said just to confuse the situation even more..It wasn't meant to be quite literal.Just another little jab at these unclear, stupid articles.

You would think that a Mamba bite would make night line or something. Considering the Python Story, and it's coverage, how could this one be (for the most part) kept down there in Florida ? Cro, I am not arguing , Just seems like it would be all over the news, and ware is that lazy Florida guy who took the Python Ban to congress ? why is he not all over this one ? This story sounds weird.

I am somewhat relieved that it has not made much national press. That does not in any way mean that it is not, at least, possibly true. Things happen every day that have a greater impact on people's lives that never make the national news.

this is to answer buzztail Q, the FWC number for ROC only is 240, here is the rest of the numbers:
<<That number is for possessors of ROCs. Some have venomous also. The number of Venomous and Venomous + ROCs is 272. Total license, all inclusive, is 409 (June/09 nimbers). This number has changed since this report but not significantly.>>
