I recall Mr. Sniffles head bobbing and I think you had noted it in another of your charges. I was doing some reading from the "Largest Cottonmouth you ever saw..." thread and ran across this article by a Wilfred T. Neill from 1947 noting what might be similar behavior in a cottonmouth with reference to other species.
