I stand humbled in your shadow Snake Master! Five years? Wow!
I suppose that my recommendation to you would be....."then don't buy one". Or, please, do buy some crappy ones and breed them yourself. Fifty bucks should indeed purchase you a crappy one.
Take care.

Well, given that the "dude' is me, allow me to elaborate. I put together my Bioga breeding project about the same time you started "breeding snakes" and soon became an "expert".
Mangrove snakes do indeed show up on a number of lists for 75-150 as the norm. The other normal is that these imports usually arrive dehydrated, parasite-ridden, scarred and refusing to feed. 95% die within a couple of months. So, if a person wants to buy one of these and take a gamble, so be it.
My snakes are healthy, feeding, parasite free and flawless. No doubt that these will become fine breeding adults and produce more hatchlings for the trade. This is how most species that are now routinely bred in captivity came to be. Someone started the process and produced young that thrive and are more receptive to breeding programs. Your "expert" breeding successes are built on the hard work of others my friend.
Now, being that these are the only breeding mangroves that I am aware of in the country right now, and the fact that I seem to have no problem selling them to other "idiots", I will simply laugh off your expert assumptions. Something that I should have done in the first place.

I'll make you a deal. I'll stay in the shadow of your greatness...IF... you'll put aside your mangrove mill long enough to work on your grammar and spelling technique. I have had rattlesnake bites less painful than reading your posts. Deal?

Karl, John et al.
My apologies for drawing this out. Please pull the posting so it does not clutter up the forum with nonsense.
Who am I to argue with the master? Been breeding snakes his entire life, or was that 5 years? My guess is, the same.
Thanks!

i would pay that for a cb healthy mangrove, imports are hard to keep alive. sorry to say i got more of a laugh from you saying you where an expert after 5 years of breeding snakes, lol I know people that have breed snakes when they where 15 years old hardly makes a person an expert cause they have breed them for 5 years.. but i would love to see the many many ones you breed and can do with out trying please post some pics or videos of your collection. I'm sure all everyone here could learn a lot from your 5 years of godliness.

LOL !
Wow, some "expert", huh..?
What amazes me is that morons come here stating that they keep venomous animals, and cannot even write a coherent or grammatically-correct sentence.
Definitely not a good thing..
