Does anyone know of a good reference on taylori?
I'm looking for husbandry details and venom toxicity specifics.

Your best source will probably be Gloyd & Conant's Snakes of the Agkistrodon Complex. Another good one is Campbell & Lamar's The Venomous Reptiles of Latin America. As far as husbandry goes, they are easy, & will reproduce before the age of two years. Ambient temps need to be between 70 & 90 F, & they should readily accept dead rodents. George VanHorn at Reptile World Serpentarium in St. Cloud, Florida has several I produced back in the eighties, if you'd care to see them live. Beautiful critters. They don't get as large as the Florida Cottonmouth, & are more brightly marked. George will be able to tell you about the venom make-up.
