I have a strange photo request for anybody with an album. I need pictures of angry vipers, any shot of an open mouthed snake will do but specifically I'm looking for photos where the fangs have been folded forward.
Thanks in advance.

Hello. The September 1999 issue of REPTILES Magazine includes a feature article on Crotalus mollosus. There is a black and white photo of a captive specimen opening it's mouth, however, the photo published is one taken before the fangs were erected forward.
I don't have a scanner, otherwise I would scan the image and send it to you. The cover of the article also has a picture of a wild caught amelanistic specimen.
I hope that I have helped you in some way. Cheers-Robert Villa

Be sure to get author and/or photographer permission if you decide to use it. And cite it as a reference. Thanks-Robert Villa

This is the closest I have. This is cropped and slightly lower resolution than the original. If this suits your purposes let me know and I can send you the original.

Here's a page with some good photos, one of a rhino viper with fangs out. Be sure to contact the man responsible for the photos before you use any.
