He must have changed it...if you email me directly, I will send you the photos.
He was working a King Cobra in the photograph.

Guys:
I am only trying to promote SAFE herping, everywhere! We need to get our act together FAST to save what states are left. We should not be wasting our time on this debate, the facts are simple:
People who act reckless make us all look very bad. The bigger the fire, the faster the lawmakers will act.
Unfortunately Jeremy is a FIRE waiting to happen.

YOu seem to have something against me phobos. You are watching me like a hawk. Go ahead and call georgia DEP or whatever you moron. I feel like Id be better off dead sometimes anyways. I cant stand you. Dont you refer to me in a post. I dont know you and dont want to know you. . Seriously, never ever start things about me.And never threaten to call anyone on me. I dont care what I did. Im at the end of my rope. I dont care if the whole world gets banned for keeping venomous snakes. THat will just take the pressure off of wild populations. The snakes dont want to be in a cage anyway. I dont keep snakes anymore and Im getting out of the hobby anyway because of people like you. Id rather be dead. All ive got out of my passion for reptiles is critsizm and "fathers". Everyone watches me like a hawk. Since when did my actions become everyones business. I can do whatever I want. And whoever said that Im young and bulletproof, I know Im not bullet proof. I know a bullet would tear through my head beautifully If I somehow got shot in the face. What were you doing at 18? Sitting at home in a diaper reading fairy tales? NO, you were doing excatly what I am doing so does every teen in the history of this planet. I seriously dont want to keep snakes anymore if this is how people are going to treat me. Its turned from fun to annoying. Its actually people like Phobos that get venomous reptiles banned because of him keeping exotic animals that ARENT supposed to be here. I dont know. Im getting a strong hate for humans. Im ashamed to be human.

Well now,
I believe I am ending another thread.
I believe that Jeremy has certainly been calmly steered onto the right path of not handling anything until he reaches the ripe old age of whenever we all started.
Yep, all that constructive criticism sure would have made me proud to be a part of the community. At 17, I caught my first Canebrake and my first Copperhead. There was no internet for me to post pictures on. There was no Steve Irwin, Jeff Corwin, Mark O'Shea or any of the other prevalent TV personalities to conveniently blame my atavistic tendencies on. I was just weird. So, I didn't learn to hook and tail until I was in my 30's. Magically, through the grace of God, I made it this far with all my fingers and toes. I did know about catching cobras with my bare hands. Bill Haast certainly made it look easy every Sunday afternoon at the Miami Serpentarium. Somehow he seems to have missed the onus of ruining hot keeping for everyone by making people run out and try to do stupid things to be like him.
Am I the only one that remembers how it felt to have someone who was doing exactly what I wanted to do say to me: "You're too young." "You don't have the experience." "Don't do what I am doing."???
Let me refresh your memory! People saying not to do something to a teenager is like waving a red flag at a bull!
Jeremy removed the pictures of himself free handling when asked. His thread about being dead was removed. He is handling an Eastern Diamondback in his profile picture in no way worse than the vast majority of other people on this site.
Let it go.
Last time I looked, Jeremy was not any one of the several people who got bitten in Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, New York or any of the other states lining up to take away hots from people who would rather lose the ability to keep them than try to set up a permit system. He lives in Georgia. Where, oddly enough, taking up a rattlesnake in your bare hands still qualifies as a religeous experience.
Personal attacks within these forums have gone on for way too long and must stop. If you don't like something about someone, email them. Remember that threats are legally actionable BEFORE you hit send on the email. Do not post personal attacks within this forum.
This thread is DONE.

Im sorry Karl, I just felt under attack because I woke up and got a bowl of cereal and checked the posts and phobos had this stuff posted about me when I was doing nothing more than what everyone else does. I just want to say, this is my hobby, this has been my passion for years. The only thing Im guilty of is having too much enthusiasm. Of course im going to handle snakes.

To whoever this may concern the coral snake I was holding was alive and they are a placid species of snake and I believe that I was in no danger. It aint like I was holding a diamondback or something. I DID have my eye on the snake even though it may not look like it! I think that it is no ones buisness if I, Jeremy or Phillip hold a hot in any manor we choose.
