Do you have a citation on that number? Not that I doubt you, I just wanted to use it in one of my classes, and I wanted to know who I was quoting - other than Dr. Bob

Josh, Whit Gibbons studied feral cats in the past and their impact on wildlife, and is listed in the references in the article cited below.

Also, if you type "how many birds do feral cats kill each day in the US" in "Google Scholar," you will get many pages of research on this topic.
Seems that the "cat huggers" do not quite agree with the "bird huggers" on some of the science, LOL.

Thanks John. I am familiar with Google Scholar, but thought that Dr. Bob would have a handy reference. There is no need to wade through literally tons of papers if somebody has the reference handy.
I'm currently trying to expand from herps to birds. Next time anybody complains about permits in herping I'll tell them to try for a federal banding permit...
