If you want to look at complacency, look at the pic on your profile - in the hot world having the hook angled towards your hand (where the hook is above your hand) with a venomous snake is a recipe for disaster.

The last answer I got from this young man on some constructive criticism, was a set of words that I cant write out on here without getting kicked off. Will try it this way “F**k You A**hole”
that was the respectable answer I got from respectable youngster. I respectfully disagree with Rob on this young man, I do not see him taking any advice from any in the older crowed here.
All I see is a young man that thinks noone can tell him anything (Big Man Syndrome).
Now that’s a good recipe for disaster.
He will go nowhere with this attitude.

Hey everyone I am already looking for a good snake hook, people think I dont listen but I take it to the heart, yes some of my replys are imature but I am up for change, I already quite my habit of handling them by the head, I relized their is no need for it, I relized that if I want to become an educational ambassador of snakes then I need to be around longer. You see I listen

Brandon,
It is good to see you post here, and it is good that you are willing to listen to suggestions from some of the older herpers who have worked with tens of thousands of venomous snakes.
I like what I see in your videos, and see a great future potential, but I do not want to see someone with less experience than you watch one of the videos, and get bitten by doing some of the things you do.
As far as snake hooks, I build by hand about 35 snake hooks a year, and sell them at reptile shows. No where near what my friends at Snakehook.net and Midwest make. I will send you one of my hooks without charge if you want one of them, and if you will give it a good try. It is a lot safer than using found sticks and stuff, although I have caught my fair share of snakes using what ever kind of stick was available, LOL. And, I could use the advertising, LOL !

he really is good, he knows what he's up to and i dont belive he was in a ton of trouble with that astricdon contortix... ive seen him pick up way more deadly shit xD but he know's whats up and he is going to be very sucessfull in his profession some day

Chandler, it is easy to get banned from a site, if the people there are not willing to listen to constructive criticism, and instead take it as some sort of attack. Many people are not mature enough to listen to others, even if they do not agree with them, and instead of them listning, and trying to improve themselves, they just hit the "ban" button on the internet.
You have no idea just how close YOU have come from getting banned from this site ! A lot of people here have taken exception to your wanting to make your own antivenom, and complained to site managers. Also, your profile still says that you are 26, and it is likely that you are 16. That is something that needs to be fixed. No one here cares if your are 16 or not, but they do care if your are 16 and say you are 26.
As far as Joe Parker, he is very concerned about safety and keeping the venomous reptile community alive and not legislated to death. When he posts about things that he sees as dangerous, it is because he is an experienced venomous keeper, and is trying to help.
If he says what you are doing is not safe, you should believe him. That is not trying to start a fight, it is a sincere effort to warn people of dangerous behaviors. Some of those people are smart enough to listen a bit, and make an effort to be safer. Some arn't.

Its all about how you presentany form of any form of informatiion to someone. I;ve read threw alota posts on here that some ofthe replies realy got my bloodboiling just by how they were presented even though i know the people posting had the best of intentions. Its why i try an look at things at alota angels an when i talk to someone i don;t do the "you stupid idiot" bit or leats i try not to come on so agressive as it seems like an attack.
