Funny, I live in Alabama and never knew anyone had found an Albino A. piscivorous. I would love to see it, if anyone comes across a Photo.

The T albino form came from the dismal swamp in SE VA. The leucistics are western (leucostoma) cottons. But there are probably seceral albino ssp floatin around, as is the case with the albino copperheads, pairing them up successfully is the trick.

i looked for the photos on fauna and they have been taken down.
it was in the summer of last year i believe. guy had caught it and was immediately trying to sell it and it was pretty, but $3000, c'mon.
i think he created the account just to sell it though so no history either. i wanna go cottonmouth hunting in dothan this spring though :)

By the way, there are no albino subspecies ! Albinism or Hypomelanism is just a mutation that can apear in any species of snake (an not only).
