I saw 2 Eastern Garter Snakes Yesterday, they were Entwined. Shoot, they thought they would make the fun part an early ordeal this Year “I guess”. Ya’ll, I have never heard of any Colubrid (or any other Southern Species for that mater) Mating this time of the Year, have ya’ll? I didn’t bother them, I just left them to have their fun “LOL”.

I visited a couple of man-made wetlands in Palm Beach County Friday. Saw three 'gators, all completely exposed basking. One was a ten footer, the second an eight, the third a six footer sharing a log with a dozen peninsula cooters & red-bellied turtles. He was using one turtle as a pillow, resting his chin on it. Temps down here have been reaching the low 80's, cooling off to the high 50's. Doesn't get much better.

6 cottonmouths in the past 3 days, and more spring peepers than you can shake a stick at. But that's about it.
