Well obviously I hit some nerves because I said the man was annoying as hell. Oh well!! You act like I'm criticizing him for respected work he's done or jealous because he's a "personality". He's supposed to get accolades because he's annoying?? I just said I won't be watching him anymore because he's a turn-off, for me. Watch him all day if you like his theatrics. Someone better before they yank him off television. I don't care if he discovers the cure for Parkinson's I wouldn't want to listen to him. I'm just glad the guy isn't a paramedic or e.r. doctor. Car accident, Car accident,Car accident,Car accident,Car accident,Car accident,Gunshot,Gunshot,Gunshot,Gunshot,Gunshot,Gunshot,Gunshot,Gunshot, you're dying, you're dying, you're dying, you're dying, you're dying, you're dying, you're dying, you're dying, lol. Sorry to offend your sensibilities of such a great man. What I'd like to see for the people on here with suggestions is to go out to collect some dangerous reptiles with this goof ball and see how you like having someone panic right next to you while you're trying to concentrate. All the people he was with were looking at him like he was an idiot, lol. He'd probably have an anxiety attack over a fire ant hill. I can respect the man's work without his infantile antics; just like I can respect Floyd Mayweather Jr. for his fighting prowess but not his big mouth. I don't knock the man for doing what he loves, just his totally elementary antics. Save that screaming and hyperventilating for 3rd graders. And he's hardly a person I would wet myself over, lol. How silly of a statement. I'd get more starstruck meeting you Mr. Carmichael, and that is genuinely meant as a compliment. Sincerest apologies for my opinion of who I will watch or not watch on t.v. Steve Irwin ran circles around these other guys,R.I.P. I'm sure I'll get banned from the board now for my opinion.
SNAKE,SNAKE,SNAKE,SNAKE,SNAKE,SNAKE,SNAKE,SNAKE,SNAKE,SNAKE,SNAKE,SNAKE,SNAKE,SNAKE,SNAKE,SNAKE,SNAKE,It's a Russell's Viper,It's a Russell's Viper,It's a Russell's Viper,It's a Russell's Viper,It's a Russell's Viper,It's a Russell's Viper,It's a Russell's Viper,It's a Russell's Viper,It's a Russell's Viper,It's a Russell's Viper,It's a Russell's Viper,It's a Russell's Viper,It's a Russell's Viper,lol.

Well, I personally like Brady Barr. I don't have much 'Hands on' Experience with D. Polylepis. I have worked with 2.2 in the past, and that is it. He did act very nervous approaching the Polylepis, but my question is, who Wouldn't? There Speed combined with attitude and Potent Venom makes them in My opinion the worlds most dangerous snake. I agree with Chris Harper completely.

Well I have never worked with dendroaspis so of course there would be a huge element of fear. But from an "expert", who's opinion and behavior is watched by countless numbers. If you think that dude is doing any favors to the herp community you're wrong in my estimation. The people who see that show and also are the same people trying to pass laws will see an ""expert"" having a panic attack on national t.v. and then say "wow, that's an expert, we surely can't have the average herper messing with one of those "poisonous" snakes, no matter if they're licensed or not." He's not the best person to be helping the herp community IMO. Nor is Austin Stevens who likes to act like Tarzan by jumping into a pool with a Gaboon viper. I'm sure Brady is a great guy and maybe it's all an act, but chill out.

Also, I don't want anyone to think I am trolling or trying to be argumentative for the sake of it. I'm just stunned some of the people on here actually support his childish behavior; not his accomplishments but I mean his crackhead outbursts. Like Rob said, different folks and all that. By the way Rob, you said you would give my girl a tour of your facility when she goes to visit her mom, if you remember we exchanged e-mails briefly. My girl isn't near the @#@-hole I am, so maybe you'll forgive my testiness and still let her have a tour, lol. Sorry for any offended as I wouldn't have gone this far had I known.

lol, are you going to sob in the corner now?
you throw the word infantile around, then you say "i'll probably get banned for my opinion" lol
go ahead, pitch that hissy fit, anything but backing your own opinion with your own opinion over and over.

and supporting his childish behavior and simply not caring are not the same.
some of us understand that TV isn't REAL LIFE and maybe he's putting on a show to add to the danger element.
if he was nonchalant, who'd believe he was messing with a killer snake?

Oh I don't pitch hissy fits; I'll let you do that. I pretty well understand t.v. from reality, and I don't care where B.B.'s reality/t.v. personality come together. I just said he was annoying and people cry about it. So go get back to breast feeding cry baby.

I think that this post is about done.
You asked ...
"...does everybody here hate Brady Barr as much as I do? LOL"
Clearly, the answer is "NO".
The name calling and pettiness back and forth is uncalled for. The fact is that people are entitled to their opinions and we do not need to support arguments based on opinions.
Synopsis:
Some people do not like Brady Barr, Jeff Corwin or even President George Bush. Some people do like Brady Barr, Jeff Corwin and President George Bush.
End of thread . . . let's move on to reptile related adult conversations.

Wow, I am having bad luck here lately ; ; I didnt mean to start a storm. It was simply an opinion of mine and I was curious as to what others though including those who have worked with him.
My personal opinion is obvious and there are many things I would like to address from this thread but as Karl said, the thread is done.
Sorry for stirring up the nest. I had no idea this post would lead to name calling.
Ya know, I find it kind of funny. I post a topic regarding Taxon change in a very popular genus of snakes and no one replies. I post an opinion about a TV show host and I get 18 in one day........ Makes you wonder somtimes....
Regards,
Jeremy

Karl, you closed the thread and I'm not throwing this in your face, but I felt I should post this for clarity's sake. First and foremost, I do NOT "hate" Brady Barr, mostly because I've never met the guy. Would I rather watch several other tv herpers? Yes. All I wanted to say.
