This year I will increase the Educational Programs conducted in the area and hope to obtain some more sponsors to help with expenses as they increase. I am in the process of building and rebuilding enclosures for the Hots, I also hope to have the funds this year to increase the size of the hot room or build a new larger room altogether.
I am trying to obtain some pygmies, both types, Carolina and Duskies, so "Paul", keep me in mind, as I am interested in some of the ones you are breeding, for the programs I conduct and hope to breed them, "not for profit", as I do with the EDB's, to keep from taking from the local populations that are under extreme pressure, from habitat destruction and urban sprawl, hence the programs, attempting to educate the public on the "Conservation" and "Preservation" of the EDB and dwindling local populations of the Pygmies. I am in contact with the local state Biologist and the local state conservation officers, and have the support of both as to improving conservation efforts starting with the educational programs. It's a start. It should be a busy year, and I hope, a productive one. Good luck to all on your projects for this "New Year", and good Herping.

I want to improve my reptile enclosures, as well as improve there design. I have been spending allot of time at the zoo to try and get an idea of how theirs are built. I also plan on working with my Son on collecting and breeding some Bufo valliceps (Gulf Coast Toads), And Finley, I would like to start looking at a Hot acquisition in the distant future possibly Heloderma suspectum. Since my youngest Son is developing a serious interest in reptiles I also want to do my best to fee that fire by keeping his nose in books, and back side in the woods. Not real exciting, but fun none the less.
